Παναγάκου Σταματούλα

Η Δρ Σταματούλα Παναγάκου είναι Επισκέπτρια Ερευνήτρια στο Τμήμα Κοινωνικών και Πολιτικών Επιστημών του Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου. Είναι Αριστούχος Απόφοιτος του Τμήματος Πολιτικής Επιστήμης και Δημόσιας Διοίκησης του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών. Είναι κάτοχος Μάστερ στην Πολιτική Φιλοσοφία και Διδακτορικού Διπλώματος στις Πολιτικές Επιστήμες από το Πανεπιστήμιο της Υόρκης στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο. Έχει τιμηθεί από τη Βρετανική Εταιρεία Πολιτικής Επιστήμης με το Βραβείο Jenny Lee Prize for Outstanding Teaching και έχει βραβευτεί στον διαγωνισμό Political Studies Association Specialist Groups Speaker Competition. Τα ερευνητικά της ενδιαφέροντα περιλαμβάνουν τη φιλοσοφία των Βρετανών Ιδεαλιστών, την αρχαία Ελληνική πολιτική σκέψη, τη φεμινιστική θεωρία, και την ιστορία της πολιτικής σκέψης. Άρθρα της έχουν δημοσιευτεί σε διεθνή επιστημονικά περιοδικά όπως The British Journal of Politics & International Relations, European Journal of Political Theory, Political Studies Review, Collingwood and British Idealism Studies, Journal of Moral Philosophy, British Journal for the History of Philosophy, Journal of Educational Thought, και Bradley Studies. Έχει εκδώσει δύο φιλοσοφικούς τόμους: James Connelly & Stamatoula Panagakou (eds.), Anglo-American Idealism: Thinkers and Ideas (Oxford: Peter Lang, 2010) και W. J. Mander & Stamatoula Panagakou (eds.), British Idealism and the Concept of the Self (London: Palgrave Macmillan, 2016).

Dr Stamatoula Panagakou is a Visiting Researcher in the Department of Social and Political Sciences at the University of Cyprus and an award-winning political scientist and political philosopher. She holds a DPhil in Politics and an MA in Political Philosophy from the University of York in the UK, and a BA in Political Science and Public Administration from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in Greece. She is the winner of the PSA Jenny Lee Prize 2018 for Outstanding Teaching and of the Political Studies Association 2015 Specialist Groups Speaker Competition. Her research interests include the philosophy of the British Idealists, ancient Greek political thought, feminism, and intellectual history. She has published articles in such journals as The British Journal of Politics & International Relations, European Journal of Political Theory, Political Studies Review, Collingwood and British Idealism Studies, Journal of Moral Philosophy, British Journal for the History of Philosophy, Journal of Educational Thought, and Bradley Studies.
