Peresani Marco

Ο Marco Peresani είναι Αναπληρωτής Καθηγητής Προϊστορικής Αρχαιολογίας στο Τμήμα Ανθρωπιστικών Σπουδών του Πανεπιστημίου της Φερράρα, στην Ιταλία, με το οποίο το Τμήμα Ιστορίας και Αρχαιολογίας του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών έχει συνάψει σύμβαση στα πλαίσια του Ευρωπαϊκού Προγράμματος Erasmus. Διευθύνει πολλά αρχαιολογικά προγράμματα και ανασκαφές παλαιολιθικών θέσεων στην Ιταλία όπως: Grotta di Fumane, Grotta del Rio Secco, Grotta de Nadale, Piovesello κ.ά.. Είναι κύριος ερευνητής και μέλος ερευνητικών προγραμμάτων που χρηματοδοτούνται από την Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση και διεξάγονται σε συνεργασία με τα ακόλουθα Επιστημονικά Ιδρύματα και Πανεπιστήμια: University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology, University of Tarragona, University of Cologne, University of Nice, University of Bordeaux, Neanderthal Museum, University of British Columbia, University of Liège, Museum d’Histoire Naturelle de Paris, University of Nanterre, Italian National Research Council, University of Rome, University of Ravenna, University of Siena και University of Genova. Είναι επίσης επιστημονικός σύμβουλος σε θέματα ανάδειξης των Παλαιολιθικών Αρχαιοτήτων σε πολλά Αρχαιολογικά και Μουσεία Φυσικής Ιστορίας στην Ιταλία. Τέλος, είναι κριτής σε πολλά διεθνή επιστημονικά περιοδικά όπως Current Anthropology, Journal of Archaeological Science, Journal of Human Evolution, PLoS ONE, Quaternary International, Paléo, Journal of Archaeological Method and Theory, Bulletin de la Societé Préhistorique Française, Science, Bullettino di Paletnologia Italiana, Royal Society Open Science κ.ά..
